| Myrna captures everyday scenes of people with boldness, humor, and charm. her paintings are often whimsical, sometimes surprising, and constantly cheerful. Although she showed artisic talent at an early age, Myrna was urged by her parents to pursue a more "practical" career. So she worked as a secretary for several years while raising three children to adulthood before seriously pursuing her lifelong love of painting. She studied at the Roslyn School on Long Island and also took courses at the Museum School affiliated with Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. She currently teaches painting, drawing, and water color to private students.
